Paducah Police located and arrested a suspect in a pair of recent shooting incidents.

After being tipped off by members of the community, detectives confirmed that a suspect they were looking for, 21-year-old Lamarcus “LJ” Holland of Wheeler Avenue, was staying at another home in Paducah. Detectives got a search warrant for the home and the SWAT team served that warrant Wednesday.

Holland reportedly admitted to involvement in an April 3rd shooting incident on Monroe Street. Detectives also said Holland told them he was involved in the shooting on March 11th near North 13th Street and H.C. Mathis Drive. In that incident, shots were reportedly fired from a moving vehicle.

For the March shooting, Holland was charged with 16 counts of wanton endangerment. Additional wanton endangerment charges along with charges of criminal mischief stem from the April incident.

Holland was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
